For the final exhibition I wanted the lighting of the animation to affect the screening room because the weather is the main action of the animation. To do that I used a projector with only the weather, synced with the animation on the screen. And I used headphones to avoid distractions from the crowd and other animations.
All feedback was positive about using the projection. They said it really improved the experience.
I also had my business cards showed as flowers from a watering can, all related to my animation. I added stickers with my details and artwork to the pencils I handed to people to use to write feedback. And I had a booklet with the design and evolution of my 3D character, the props, the storyboard and my schedule for the rendering. I also added some to the wall to get more people’s attention.
